My name is Gun-Lis Lehtonen, known among friends as LISA and my cattery's name is AMORS TROLL.

I was born in the Finnish archipelago, a long time ago, as well as the Mumintrolls, and spent my seven first years surrounded with animals and close to nature.

I have had animals of my own since I was just a few year old. Cats were housecats to begin with. They have always lived "in the house" with me and I will not sell kittens to anyone who wants to keep them caged. Thirty-five years ago I bought my first Persian, a blue male neuter, which stayed with me for 17 years. Blue Persians will therefore always have a special place in my hart. My oldest today is a fifteen year old red Persian neuter male who lives with my mother. In my home the oldest is my blue neuter female, who will be 9 years old this summer. I will soon take her to the shows as senior and also as veteran if she likes it.

My first litter was born in the summer year 1999.

On the 2nd of October 1999 I attended my first cat show with kittens from my first litter, Amors Troll Prince Nero a black Persian male and his sister Princess Turtle. As they were appreciated by the judges I became really interested in attending additional shows during the year 2000. Something I still find interesting in year 2006!

In my cattery today I have four males. This is possible because two of them live with my grown-up sons. You can find my cats on the males and the females pages. The grown ups are PKD-tested and I will continue to test all of them.

As you surely know cat showing can be exhausting. Kiki Thenberg caught me with her camera as I was taking a nap at a show.
